Review: The Devil’s Angel by Danica Winters

The Devil's Angel by Danica Winters
The Devil's Angel by Danica Winters

TLDR Recap:

Sarah works for a lingerie company, so of course for the Halloween costume party thrown by her boss Mike, all of the employees have to wear Halloween themed lingerie. The story starts off with her tugging at her corset, straightening up her halo and running into the Devil standing right outside her boss’ house. The tall handsome masked Devil will not reveal his identity, but soon Sarah doesn’t care who he is as he takes her to thrilling places she’d never been. GraveTells calls this a recommended read!

Thoughts:

Sarah decides to dress up as a bad angel, wearing a white corset, panties and a lopsided halo to attend the Halloween Costume party her boss Mike, the owner of the lingerie and sex toy company, is hosting.  Upon arriving, she meets a man dressed up as the Devil. Feeling daring she proposes they hang out together and then see how things progress between them. He accepts her offer. Their first sexual encounter happens right in the middle of the party, the Devil manages to take her over the top while holding her against the wall. Quite an amazing feat to be able to get away with what they did and her actually think nobody noticed. I loved it!

Danica Winters gives us a different side of who the Devil is and how it’s possible that he has a role to play in the balance of nature and is not totally an evil guy. When Sarah is faced with making a decision that could cost her humanity, she is shocked to even contemplate it for a person she’s just met. The one tug at her heart which keeps Sarah doubting her attraction to the Devil is her boss Mike, who she’s secretly loved for years.

The Devil’s Angel is a great short story with an alternate view of a hero that we expect to dislike, but end up enjoying quite a bit. The sex is very well done with progressing scenes that fulfill without overdoing it. I fully enjoyed this short story.

Memorable Quotes:

Would the Devil say yes?

”Don’t you want anybody to polish your horn?.”

After yanking her out of the flames

”I’m sorry I had to do that. I just needed you to hurry.”

The perfect declaration…

“I love you, Sarah. I will love you until the end of time.”

Final Thoughts:

Ms. Winters pens a great short story with believable characters that are easy to like. I recommend this as an introduction to her writing. I believe you’ll look for more from her after reading this.
