Giveaway (US/Int): Rachel Carrington on how to land your very own vampire!

Vampire Forgotten
Vampire Forgotten

Please help me welcome author Rachel Carrington to GraveTells today!

Okay, I admit it. As a writer and reader of paranormal romance, I have an unshakeable love for all things vampire. And after watching television shows like Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Moonlight, I want my own vampire. Now, granted, I don’t want one that’s going to want to slurp my blood for a noon snack. Well, maybe he’ll want it, but he’ll have the control not to take it.

At any rate, since I’m guest posting her today at Grave Tells, I thought I’d share with you readers some of the ways my characters have found their very own vampire. Maybe you can use some of the tips and snag your own Angel, Spike, Mick, Edward, Bill, and the list goes on.

In Vampire Cursed, Abby desperately wants to interview a reclusive Duke for her newspaper. It’s a top assignment, one every reporter wants, and she gets the task. No one has interviewed this guy for years. That should have been Abby’s first clue. And when she stepped foot inside the Duke of Lehr’s castle and felt like she’d just fallen through a time capsule into the 18th century, that was another red flag.

In Vampire Forgotten, Mischa is actually on the hunt for a vampire who she believes can help her find her sister. Of course, she’s prepared herself first by taking an online course in how to kill vampires. But there was something about Rhad’s eyes that made her forget all about killing him.

In Vampire Betrayed, Ariana thinks she’s falling in love with a normal man if you don’t take into account his late night disappearances, his avoidance of the sun, and his unusual amount of stamina. But when you’re falling in love, you don’t really focus on the little details, do you?

I don’t think either one of these ways are going to work for me personally. First, I’m not a reporter. Second, no way am I going looking for a vampire without knowing he was going to be a nice one first, and third, well, I haven’t even found a nice normal man who doesn’t have all the other issues! But…I am keeping my eyes open because if any way is going to work, the third one is my best shot.

What about you? How do you think you could meet a vampire? And if you could, would you?

Forgotten in the mountains of Romania. Forced to live a life he didn’t choose. Suffering the daily pain of loneliness. Spending an eternity without the touch of a woman’s hand.

Though damned as a vampire, Rhad Valentine has been given what some might call the gift of psychic sight. He sees it as a constant reminder of real life going on without him—a life he cannot live.

Mischa Bonovich is on a desperate mission to find her missing sister, Rianna. Led to the mountains of her homeland by the faint call of Rianna’s voice, Mischa needs Rhad’s gift and his strength.

Wild hunger, both foreign and welcome, drives Rhad to his knees. He’d never held a woman so soft. Kissed one so responsive. And in spite of his inner protests, he’ll do anything to help her. Anything to feel just one more touch of her hand.

In the dark forests of Romania, Rhad’s desire won’t be quenched until he tastes what only Mischa can offer, but first, he must save her from a man who has nothing to lose. A man who holds a deadly secret that could tear Mischa from Rhad’s arms before love can happen.
