  • GraveTells review score of the story was 4.5/5 or greater
  • Story was published no earlier than December 2011
  • Story stood out as memorable and outstanding, as expressed by the reviewer in her GraveTells review
  • Preference was given to stories meeting all the qualifications above which were also chosen as a GraveTells Book of the Month, Reviewer Top Pick, or Readers Choice Favorite Story during 2012

Favorite Novella or Short Story

Nominees in the Favorite Novella or Short Story category were chosen using the following criteria…

  • Novella (20,000 – 50,000 words) or short story reviewed by GraveTells.com in 2012

Nominees in the Most Original Story Universe category were chosen using the following criteria…

  • Multiple (2+) stories in the series were published in 2012, at least 2 of those were reviewed on GraveTells.com in 2012, and the series has never been nominated for this award before
  • World-building and story setting was memorable as being fresh and unique, as expressed by the reviewer in her GraveTells review of the stories

    Some of my favs made the list…Joey W. Hill, Rebecca Zanetti, Elizabeth Staab, Sandra Hill, just to name a few.
    Voting is going to be very very difficult…
    I love this site…I’m always finding new and exciting books to read.
