Deacon (Gideon’s Riders #2) by Kit Rocha #BookReview #EroticDystopian
Deacon introduces what will likely be the through-plot for the Gideon's Riders series, and gives a vulnerable peek into the Riders' fearless leader and his shadowy past. This story world, this sector that survived a world apocalypse and a brutal civil war, sets the example for the kind of harmony and community we could have if only we stopped judging and killing each other long enough to give a damn. Deacon is a recommended read for anyone who is already a fan of the Beyond or Gideon's Riders series, values diversity and acceptance, likes hot sex scenes and heart-pounding action sequences, and enjoys stories set in dystopian, post-apocalyptic worlds.

Wanted & Wired (Tether #1) by Vivien Jackson #BookReview #ScifiUrbanDystopian #CyberpunkRomance
Straight up, you won't find many stories like Wanted & Wired in the romance market right now, although I wouldn't be surprised if the Tether story universe inspires a thriving new cyberpunk romance sub-genre. This story is steeped in diversity—racial, bio-mechanical, sexual, sub-genre—you name it, and Wanted & Wired just might have it. Readers who fancy the sci-fi and fantasy greats—Han Solo, Captain Mal, Isaac Asimov... you get the picture—will lust after this snarky, femme-strong romance that simply cannot be categorized by genre boundaries.

Ashwin (Gideon’s Riders #1) by Kit Rocha #VideoReview #BookReview #EarlyReview
This book is the perfect introduction to Sector One—and Gideon's Riders in particular. Ashwin's mission to infiltrate the Riders is the perfect opportunity to sweep the readers along on a journey of initiation, and rites of passage, and the first experiences unique to Sector One. Readers new and old will adore Ashwin and savor his dance with Kora and the Riders.
"I like the format of the reviews and it helps me decide if a book is a ‘go get this now’, ‘wait until you’re in the mood’, ‘maybe- if there’s nothing else to read’ or ‘probably not the book match for me’. I eagerly look to see what quotes are presented and I find the ‘if you like-’ comparisons possibly as telling as the actual review. Way to go, guys!"
