He Completes Me (Home #2)He Completes Me by Cardeno C.
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This story is a true “happily ever after”. Throughout the entire book, I kept waiting for the angst and drama to happen, but it never did and that was a refreshing change. There’s no great mystery to solve, no massive differences to overcome, no danger waiting in the wings to make Aaron and Zach realize how much they truly love each other. He Completes Me is a relationship story that follows Zach’s POV from before he meets Aaron until they become fully integrated into each others’ lives, extended family and all. I loved being Zach’s head. He lived a hedonistic, fast-paced life before Aaron and his perspective is charmingly abrupt and open-minded. Aaron came off as a little too sweet, too perfect and needy at times, but overall he was an enjoyable character too. Some of the secondary characters seriously irritated me and I assumed it was part of a plot device to help further Aaron’s character, but nothing much really comes of that – not a big deal overall, but it felt like a weak line in the story arc. If you’re looking for a sweet, dependable love story that doesn’t use gimmicks to pace through the plot, check out He Completes Me.
