GraveTells Book Club: Bossy vamps, winners, and our next read!

How did you guys like Fated?

With three of the later stories in the Dark Protectors series scoring 4.0+ reviews plus two of them being named as previous Books of the Month, we just had to read Fated, the story that started it all for the 2012 Series of the Year in January!  The definite consensus is that Talen is a bonafide caveman alpha vampire who will do whatever it takes to protect his fated mate, and the whole crew of Kayrs brothers are hot, hot, hot!  For those of you who missed it, you can still discuss Fated with us! We’re leaving the topics up in case we have any slowpokes or newcomers who want to go back and check out the previous books. Click the book cover below to jump straight to the discussion!

January winners!

As promised, we’ve drawn 5 names from those who signed up and introduced yourselves in the Welcome thread before the deadline, and the winners of the swag packs are…

  • Avidreader07
  • D Thomas
  • Vampfiction
  • Iris P.
  • Brandy B.

Our MVP this month is Rhianna, for her enthusiastic and friendly participation in the discussions even though she didn’t enjoy the read as much as she’d hoped to.  Rhi, your prize pack is donated by Ms. Zanetti herself, and is a very cool Dark Protectors spiral notebook (sporting Kane’s sexy chest on the front!) and a Dark Protectors branded mug!  *confetti*

Amanda, our fearless discussion leader, will be following up with the winners to get your mailing info!  I’ll be shipping them out later this week, so let me know if you haven’t received your prize pack by mid-February.

February’s read is…

Psst – as of 2/5, Rise of the Fallen is still FREE at Amazon for Kindle and the Kindle Cloud reader!  Not sure how long that will last, so grab it for free while you can if you don’t yet own a copy!  Click here or the cover above to go directly to the product page on Amazon.

Rise of the Fallen is the first book in the All the King’s Men series by Donya Lynne, which was recently chosen as a January 2013 Reviewer Top Pick!  We’ll be reviewing more books in the series in the coming months, so come read Rise with us, then read the others and come back to see if you think the other heroes are just as sexy as Micah Black.  😉  If the Black Dagger Brotherhood is your style and you’ve been fiending for your fix until Lover At Last releases, Rise of the Fallen is the book you’ve been looking for!

Even if you’ve already read this book (or even the whole series!), read along with the GraveTells Book Club and come chat us up about the sexy AKM enforcers!

February giveaway (US/Int)

We’re giving away more swag and a special bonus prize this month for all you lovelies who come out to participate in the group chat.  One bonus prize will be awarded to the most active and positively enthusiastic participant in this month’s chat!  You’ll get your choice of the following bracelets (the pictures each show front and back of one bracelet)

Five swag packs will go to randomly chosen group members who RSVP for the event and introduce themselves in the Welcome thread before midnight PST on Sunday, February 10th.

Click here to RSVP for the event!

Click here to go straight to the Welcome thread to say hi!

If you would like to get GTBC invites automatically, friend DaVinciKittie on GoodReads and I’ll include you in the auto-invite at the end of each month so you don’t miss out.  =)

Can’t wait to see you all there!  Post a comment on this thread if you have any questions.
