The Top 5 Signs That Your Man Is A Wahya

If you have ever looked at a date and thought, There’s something different about this person that I can’t quite figure out, then he or she might be a Wahya. Here’s how to know for sure.

1. If your man seems to ignore you during meals, salivates at a sporting event when the scent of hamburgers and hot dogs fills the air, or glares when you try to steal a French fry, he might be a Wahya. They love to eat and can be quite stingy with food. However, if a Wahya willing shares his food, it’s a good sign he is bonding with you.

2. If your man is especially frisky during a full moon and wants to have a howling contest, he might be a Wahya. You may also notice that in his home, clothing is optional.

3. If during a disagreement, your man growls soft, low, and menacing, then he might be a Wahya. You may also hear this sound when he is jealous, or simply in a bad mood. However, pay close attention to tone and watch your man’s eyes. If the growl resonates more like a purr, you might be in for a rocking night of romance.

4. After a date, if you look out your window and see a wolf in the shadows watching your home, your man might a Wahya. They are very protective of the ones the love and will always put themselves between you and any threat, no matter how great or small.

5. If you hear the word, “Mine,” incessantly run through your mind in your man’s voice, he might be a Wahya who has decided to love and cherish you forever.

If your man meets all five descriptions, especially number five, then you are definitely dating a Wahya. Wrap your arms around them and hold on tight. You’re in for one wild adventure.

CHARMED BY THE WOLF showcases one such adventure. Here’s a peek at Nel and Tristan’s first impromptu date.

Nel’s laughter chased her all around the twirl Tristan spun her in until she landed back in his arms and he dipped her deep. Slowly, he brought her upright and flush to his body. She was panting too hard from exertion for her breath to hitch. Otherwise, it would have.

“You are a fast learner. No one will ever believe you didn’t know those moves before tonight.” Tristan seemed in no hurry to have her step back. His hands palmed her low back, holding her in place. “Ready for the next one?”

“I don’t have the energy to keep up the pace.” Her sigh was really an attempt to catch her breath. When she’d vowed to make up for lost time, she hadn’t meant to do it all at once.

“We can slow it down again.” He drew her closer. So close her cheek rested against his chest.

Admittedly, they’d hit a rough patch during the evening. However, Tristan impressed her with his earnestness in discussing the problem and his honesty in solving it.

He was a true gentleman. Even now, squashed together as they were, his hands rested respectfully on her lower back, not copping a feel of her ass, which hopefully would not grow a size larger from the chicken wings she’d eaten at Tristan’s insistence.

He didn’t seem to mind she wasn’t a size two, or even a ten, and she certainly appreciated the solid bulk of his muscular build. The face of Adonis, a body built for sex and a devilish Southern charm that could entice a woman to drop her panties without a second thought.

So what was he doing with her?

Yeah, they had some kind of inexplicable connection. Electricity sizzled between them and had from the start. She had no idea what it meant, but a definite idea of where she wanted it to lead.

Unfortunately, despite the kiss and smoldering looks Tristan gave her, he hadn’t suggested anything more than a night of dancing. Maybe her fantasies had colored reality.

“Hey!” Tristan’s hand glided up and down her back. “You’re all tensed up.”

“Sorry. My mind wandered.”

Tristan stared down at her. In the dim light his eyes looked puzzled, contemplative. “I must be rustier than I thought.”

“Rustier at what?”

“Entertaining a date.” He shrugged. “It’s been a while since I’ve been on one.”

“You’re kidding.”

“Nope.” His smile flatlined. “I’m not celibate, by any means, but those aren’t dates.”

“What are they?”

“Hookups, for lack of a better term.”

“So, why is this a date and not a hookup?”

Tristan’s eyes warmed. “I’m not angling to bed you at the end of the evening.”

“Why not? Aren’t you attracted to me?”

“I think I proved I am when I kissed you.” Tristan trailed the back of his hand along her cheek. “You aren’t the kind of woman a man turns to for a one-nighter. You are a now-and-for-always kind of woman.”

“You’re assuming an awful lot about someone you just met.”

“Am I?”

“Sometime in the future, I may want to settle down,” Penelope said. “Right now, I’m stretching my wings and trying new things.”

The band wound down to take a break.

“Damn.” Tristan sweetly kissed her knuckles. “I hate for our evening to end, but I have Co-op duty tonight.”

“And I have to work tomorrow. I guess I should go.”

“Yes, Penelope. You should go. And when you get back to the cabin, lock the door and don’t open it until morning.” Tristan sounded so serious a sliver of alarm swept through her.

“Why?”

“It’s almost midnight.” He stroked his thumb along her jaw. Waves of fire and ice undulated beneath her skin. “The moon is full. And the wolves are restless tonight.”

My best date was going on the TV Ted Steele Show which showcased dancing (This was in 1961) This was my first date with my now hubby of 54 years. We had a great time and we had gone with his best friend and his date. The other couple were into ballroom dancing and we all had such fun. You couldn’t ask for anything better for a first date. Of course I was nervous, but we had so much in common, it was like we knew each other for a long time.

My best date was someone I met while I was in junior high. We would go to the park and listen to music and we always had a good time together. Our song was Surround Me With Love by Charly McClain. Unfortunately he died in a car accident shortly after we met, but I still remember him to this day!!!

My worst date was when my ex-husband took me to the woods for a picnic and decided to bring his best friend along to enjoy the picnic that was for us two. He told me his best friend wanted to hang out and he decided to hang with his best friend while on a picnic date with me. That was the worst date I have had.

I don’t know if this qualifies as worst date but when I first started dating my husband to be we stepped outside to go a walk and a bird dropping landed right on the front of my favorite shirt. I was so embarrassed as well as upset.

    • September 27, 2017 at 1:17 pm

Oh no!! Was he gallant in helping you clean it off? I remember visiting the Eiffel Tower for the first time (there are a TON of birds that flock under it) and one of the girls in my group got pooped on not once, but FOUR TIMES within an hour. It was awful! And sorta funny. =D

Dating what’s that…lol I haven’t dated anyone in quite a while. I guess that best date was when a boyfriend took me on a romantic date to Sybaris. He blind folded me, so it was a surprise. He fed me chocolate covered strawberries. It was sweet and very romantic!

My worst date was an internet dating connection. We had talked quite well over the phone but when we met in person there was absolutely no connection. To be honest I was a little repulsed by his over familiar manner. So when he moved in on me in preparation for a hands on clinch at the end of the date my automatic reflex was hands out and the command “Back off”. He did……never heard from him again.
